Elmedin Kikanovic (ex Al Riyadi) signs at Al Sharjah

Al Sharjah (ULB) landed 33-year old Bosnian ex-international 211cm center Elmedin Kikanovic, agency: BeoBasket for new season. Kikanovic played most recently at Al Riyadi in Lebanese LBL league. In 10 games he averaged impressive 17.8ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.9apg and 1.0bpg last season. He helped them to make it to the Lebanese League final after they ended regular season as second best team. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Import Player of the Year and voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Second Team. Kikanovic also played for Kuwait (D1) in Kuwaiti league where in 10 games he had very remarkable stats: 17.8ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.9apg. He contributed to his team winning the league title and the Supercup.
Kikanovic was also a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina international program for some years. He played for Bosnia and Herzegovina Senior National Team between 2006 and 2018 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2006.
He also represented Bosnia at the Qualifications to European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2017 six years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 5.0ppg, 1.0rpg.
He is a very experienced player. Kikanovic has played also professionally in France (Monaco and Sluc Nancy), Germany (ALBA Berlin), Russia (Enisey), Serbia (Crvena Zvezda), Turkey (OGM Orman) and Bosnia (OKK Sloboda Tuzla).
